Planet Opal is a kraut rock-techno band, their sound is made of chromatic synthesizers and wild drum patterns. Authentic revelation of Italian electronics, they are inspired by post-punk and post-disco re-shaped in a sound-system key.

Their debut album “Cartalavonu” (2021) soon led Giorgio and Leonardo to perform throughout the finest clubs and festivals in Italy and Europe: Mi Ami Milano, MENT Ljubljana, Mondo Festival New York, Novi Sad - European Capital of Culture 2022, demonstrating that their musical proposal has all the trappings of internationality.

In 2023 Planet Opal's orbit spins again, going from Goa Boa Festival, to the renowned Fuse club in Brussels and the festivals Transmusicales in Rennes and Zdravo Mladi in Skopjie. Later they performed as opening act for the Dutch band Yin Yin at Kino Siska in Ljubljana and at Mocvara in Zagreb, while completing the writing of new material.

In May 2025 "Recreate Pattern, Release Energy", the band's second album, was released along with an exciting tour across Italy including Spring Attitude Festival in Rome.
